Yes, I will then wait for the final version fix. Please let me know when available, thanks!

How do I utilize this test version? Agent ID is 130562
-
that's what I am asking, remind me of the starter command. Sorry if my wording wasn't correct.
-
I don't want to make it a service at this point. What is the command to restart the agent?
-
I am running the software agent on Linux. You really suggest an agent restart every 24 hours? Is the restart necessary to update the agent? I have not automated the running of the agent. Can you remind me how to restart the agent service on Ubuntu? Thanks!

What will I have to do if the bug resolution is confirmed?

Yes, LAN is 2.1, WAN is DHCP from ISP.
-
2.1 is my router that is connected via ethernet drop to my ISP. No separate firewall is in the mix here.

I had a 7m outage yesterday. It was definitely an issue with my ISP not "Internal" as it was noted. Why did it not show as "Provider"?
Agent ID is 130562.
2023-11-28 14:52:51 - Down (192.168.2.1) for 7m 44s (Internal)
Would love a further explanation.
Thank you!

Done, thank you! Any plans to have any refurbed hardware agents $29.95 available any time soon?
-
Dashboard for that one not available it says
-
I don't see an option to delete? Shows disconnected and all action buttons unavailable.
-
Will see how this works over time on this linux machine. Otherwise, I may buy a hardware agent if I deem it useful. I am a previous montior.io customer so that's my reason for going this route with outagesio. Thanks!
-
agent 130561 will auto delete right?
-
I am just using this for my home so unless I create a windows agent or buy a hardware agent at some point, I don't have a reason to use another agent.
-
OK, it's working now. If I don't go thru the steps to set it to a service, if I have to reboot this linux box, do I just run the starter.sh script again?
-
Agent says disconnected so that means I need to download again? New credentials again then too right? I am ensuring that the owner and group for the agentid file and starter.sh script are root root rather than stockmal stockmal. OK, I guess I'll try it again.
By the way, I did not delete the previous agents, it appears someone did from your side. I guess you can delete the most recent one I tried. I'll go through the motions again and let you know. Thanks!

Ubuntu..........Please read previous comments for additional detail. Thanks!

filename still downloads as starter.sh; thought you said updated to no dots in the filename?
Anyway, tried it...
